Where We Began and Where we are

PossAbilities pediatric therapy was launched in 2003 with the mission to partner with parents and professionals to provide quality therapy services in the KC metro area.  Since then we have seen several phases of growth.

In 2007 we moved into a space that we could call our own and began to enjoy all the possibilities of a sensory gym and additional treatment areas.

 In 2013 we moved into our own building in Merriam, KS where our young clients could further grow and benefit from expanded indoor and outdoor therapy areas. The indoor space now has a kitchen, additional therapy rooms, a shady front yard, raised planters, a natural playground and a sensory garden. So many possibilities!

 In 2018, we saw further fulfillment of our goals to partner with other professionals as  we joined with Children’s Therapy Group, with its stellar reputation and experienced staff. PossAbilities Children’s Therapy Group continues to grow and strengthen as a team providing individual and group pediatric therapy, speech/ language and motor screenings in preschools and professional training.

 In March 2020, we acquired Summit Therapy Services” in Lee’s Summit, Missouri to better serve our families on the east side of the KC metro area providing. Complete therapy services and specialized programs of feeding therapy, lactation consultation, dyslexia support, homeschooling consultation and partnering with local preschools and private schools will be offered.
