Becca is originally from east TN and attended Belmont University for both undergraduate and graduate school. She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science and a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. She then relocated to the Kansas City area after completing a graduate school program development project for Sue Young, founder of Children’s Therapy Group. She has since worked in a specialized preschool for blind and visually impaired children and in the home-based early intervention program in both Kansas and Missouri. She is trained in the SOS (sequential oral sensory) Feeding Approach for Picky Eaters and Problem Feeders and loves working with kids to increase their feeding skills. She also specializes in sensory processing disorder, visual impairments, and enjoys treating kids in the pool with aquatic therapy.
Becca has four children who are all back in school after a couple of years of being homeschooled. They stay pretty busy with gymnastics, cheerleading, cross country, and competitive baseball. In her spare time, she likes to run or exercise, cook, travel, and be outdoors. She is also really involved in her church where her husband is a campus-ministries pastor.
